Types of Metrics
Performance goal: These are goals that can be measured like a progress bar. They have a start value, an end value, and a current value somewhere in between. Performance goals are goals that only your initiative's team members can report.
Impact goal: These goals measure change over time. Compare the starting value and how it changes month by month. Impact goals are goals that are reported on by the entire ecosystem. This would be things like total hours saved, amount of money saved, reduction in manpower, etc.
SITREP: This is a monthly status report that consists of all impact goals connected to an initiative. SITREPS can only be submitted if they are in a reportable phase. Any team member, collaborator or user that has submitted use cases or improvements can initiate a SITREP on the first of each month.
Why is this important?
The RoME™ Dashboard provides a single view of your data including performance goals, impact goals, and situation reports.
It is a quick and easy way to track your progress over time toward specific goals and identify areas for improvement as long as the data is updated regularly.
