Introducing Portfolios & Innovation Banners

  • New Portfolios feature for grouping and tracking initiatives together

  • New analytics built into the Managed Pipeline view, including a blockers tab and an expanded sidebar to view full innovation details without leaving the page

  • Reorganized the VISION left navigation for easier access to core features

  • Added the ability to set a banner image on innovation project pages

Portfolio & Banner Bugfixes

  • Added filtering options for pipeline milestones and blockers

  • Fixed an issue where updating an innovation's core details (like its synopsis) could cause its banner image to temporarily disappear

  • Fixed the "Change Image" button not responding when editing an existing banner image

  • Improved how comment edits in portfolio discussions display, so changes are more likely to show up right away (we're continuing to iron out remaining edge cases)

  • Relabeled the "Portfolio Activity Feed" card to "Initiative Activity Feed" for clarity on what data it displays

    • Fixed a performance issue affecting how innovations are sorted by follower count

Portfolios: Blockers Index and Discussions

  • Blockers Index Page & Quick View Sidebar: Review and manage blockers across a portfolio in one place, with a quick view sidebar for inspecting individual items without leaving the page

  • Discussion notifications: Get notified when someone comments in a portfolio discussion

  • Leave a portfolio: Remove yourself from a portfolio you're no longer working on

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where certain profile updates could unexpectedly remove access to Portfolios from the left navigation

  • Fixed an issue preventing items from being removed from a portfolio via the Quick View panel

Introducing Portfolios

Group related initiatives together in one place, with role-based access controlling who can manage a portfolio versus who can just view and participate.

  • Roles: Owners and Managers can manage membership and portfolio metadata; Collaborators can view the portfolio and participate in discussion; non-members have no access

  • Initiative management: Add or remove initiatives from a portfolio, and filter and sort them by health, blocker status, and phase

  • Discussion: Comment on individual initiatives within a portfolio, with each comment tied directly to the relevant item

  • Insights: View portfolio-level data, including health scores, activity heatmaps, and status/phase distribution, scoped only to the initiatives inside that portfolio

A curated set of high-impact efforts aligned with strategic priorities and premier technology focus areas, visible to all VISION users. Showcased Portfolios are administered by VISION support and cannot be created by individual users.
